Course overview
Confidence in every gas test.
For personnel involved in confined-space entry, hot work and industrial gas testing. Training combines guided theory, equipment practice and supervised assessment.
Topics include atmospheric hazards, detector preparation, sampling, interpreting readings and responding to unsafe conditions.
Training covers CO, H2S, NH3, O2 and combustible gases, using appropriately configured MSA ALTAIR detectors.
A RISE training course informed by the published OPITO AGT scope. This course is not OPITO-approved or OPITO-certified.
